Gita 11.44
तस्मात्, प्रणम्य, प्रणिधाय, कायम्, प्रसादये, त्वाम्, अहम्, ईशम्, ईड्यम्,
पिता, इव, पुत्रास्य, सखा, इव, सख्युः, प्रियः, प्रियायाः, अर्हसि, देव, सोढुम्।।44।।
Gita 11.44
Tasmaat’, prnmya, prnidhaay, kaayam’, prsaadye, tvaam’, aham’, iisham’, iidyam’,
Pita, iv, putrasya, sakha, iv, sakhyuH, priyaH, priyaayaaH, arhsi, Dev, sodum’ ||44||
Translation: (Tasmaat’) therefore O God! (aham’) I (kaayam’) body (prnidhaay) offering fully in your feet / prostrate before you (prnmya) saluting in reverence (iidyam’) worshippable (tvaam’) you (iisham’) God (prsaadye) request to be gracious (Dev) O God (pita) father (iv) just as (putrasya) of son (sakha) friend (iv) just as (sakhyuH) of friend and (priyaH) a husband (priyaayaaH) tolerates the offences of the beloved wife, likewise, you also ; my offences (sodum’) to tolerate (arhsi) are worthy. (44)
Translation: Therefore O God! I offering my body fully in your feet (prostrating before you) and saluting in reverence request the worshippable you, God to be gracious. O God! Just as a father tolerates the offences of a son, a friend of a friend and a husband of the beloved wife; likewise, you are also worthy of tolerating my offences.
