Bhagavad Gita Chapter 9 Verse 8

Gita 9.8

प्रकृृतिम्, स्वाम्, अवष्टभ्य, विसृृजामि, पुनः, पुनः।
भूतग्रामम्, इमम्, कृत्थ्म्, अवशम्,प्रकृतेः,वशात्।।8।।

Gita 9.8

Prakrtim’, swaam’, avashtabhya, visrjaami, punH, punH,
Bhootgramm’, imm’, krtsnnm’, avasham’, prakrteH, vashaat’ ||8||

Translation: (Swaam’) my (Prakrtim’) Prakriti i.e. Durga (avashtabhya) by accepting [having sexual intercourse] i.e. keeping in wife form (PrakrteH) nature (vashaat’) by power (avasham’) subjugated/overpowered (imm’) this (krtsnnm’) whole (bhootgramm’) community of living beings (punH, punH) repeatedly according to their deeds (visrjaami) create. (8)

Gita 9.8: By accepting (having sexual intercourse with) my Prakriti i.e. keeping her in wife form, I repeatedly create this whole community of living beings according to their deeds who have been overpowered by their nature.
