Aadi Ram
What is Aadi Ram (Avigat Ram) and Who is Aadi Ram?
Aadi Ram refers to the original, eternal Supreme God — the creator of all creation, who exists beyond birth and death, and who is the Supreme Father of all souls. This Aadi Ram is none other than Kabir Saheb (Kavir Dev), who is the Param Akshar Brahm mentioned in the scriptures.
Meaning of Aadi Ram:
- "Aadi" means eternal, primordial, or original.
- "Ram" means the one who resides in every being, all-pervading God.
So, Aadi Ram means:
“The Eternal God who existed before all creation and resides in every living being.”
Aadi Ram is also called Avigat Ram
Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj identifies Aadi Ram as God Kabir, the Supreme God (Param Akshar Brahm) who:
- Resides in Satlok (the eternal abode).
- Created all universes through His power.
- Appeared on Earth in Kalyug (1398 CE) in Lahartara Pond, Varanasi as an infant on a lotus.
- Gave true spiritual knowledge (Tatvagyan) in the form of verses and poetry.
- Is mentioned in all the holy scriptures, including the Vedas, Bhagavad Gita, and Quran (in coded form).
Scriptural Evidence
Rigveda Mandal 9 Sukt 96 Mantra 16–20
These mantras describe Kavir Dev (God Kabir) who comes from Satlok, gives knowledge in poetic form, and is the eternal Supreme Being — the true Aadi Ram.
Bhagavad Gita Chapter 15 Verse 17
Talks about the Supreme Purush (Uttam Purush), who is beyond the perishable (Kshar) and imperishable (Akshar) — that is Param Akshar Brahm, Aadi Ram (Kabir).
Difference between Aadi Ram and Maryada Purushottam Ram:
Aadi Ram: Supreme God Kabir, eternal, beyond birth and death.
Maryada Purushottam Ram: Avatar of Vishnu in Treta Yuga. He is not the Supreme God. He was born as son of King Dashrath of Ayodhya.
Supreme God Kabir has Himself given information about Him (Aadi Ram)
God Kabir met his virtuous soul Garib Das Ji Maharaj and gave him all the knowlege. This knowledge is available in his Holy Scripture called Amar Granth Sahib.

Speech (Verse) No. 1, 5:
Ram (God) has neither a beginning (Aadi) nor an end (Ant). His greatness is beyond comprehension, and His actions and powers are infinite and immeasurable. He is Kaadar – the Almighty, Kareem – the Merciful. He alone carries out all tasks. He is the Supreme Master of all. He is Rahim, the Compassionate God – the ever-present Ramta Ram who pervades all places.

Meaning: (Avigat) – The Divine, Supreme God is Kabir Ji. He is (Chakvae) – the Chakravarti King. (A Chakravarti king is one who ruled over the entire earth and was the Maharaja — the supreme ruler, master of all other kings. Similarly, Kabir SatPurush rules over all realms. He is the Master, the Maharaja — that is, the Mahadev — the Great Lord of Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh, Jyoti Niranjan, and Akshar Purush, along with all lesser deities.)
God Kabir is eternal and immortal. Even Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiv serve Him (khavaasi). Indra, the thirty-three crore deities, eighty-eight thousand sages, nine Yogeshwars, the four Sanakadik, Sheshnaag, Ganesh, Saraswati, Lakshmi, Savitri, Parvati, and quadrillions of ganas (attendants) — all follow His command.
God Kabir reigns over all. Kabir Ji has made the human body so beautiful with just a drop of water. He Himself is the Creator of the infinite brahmands (multiverses) and the eighty-four lakh species of living beings. He is the origin of all creation.
Sant Garibdas Ji has said: "The God who performs divine acts (leela) in countless forms is the One who sits above me as my Supreme Lord."
Speech of God Kabir on Aadi Ram
This is a spiritual dialogue between God Kabir and Dharamdas Ji, where Kabir Saheb is revealing the deep mysteries of creation and the origin of deities Brahma, Vishnu, Shiv, their mother Goddess Durga and father Kaal.
Dharmdas yeh jag baurana, Koi na jaane pad nirwana.
Yahi kaaran main katha pasaara, Jag se kahiye ek Ram niyara.
God Kabir is explaining the origin of gods Brahma, Vishnu, Shiv, their father Kaal and Mother Durga and is saying, "O Dharmdas, this whole world is deluded. No one knows the path to true liberation (Nirvana or Moksha)". That is why I have revealed this divine story — to tell the world about the unique, supreme Ram (Aadi Ram), who is different from the commonly known Ram.
Yahi gyan jag jeev sunaao, Sab jeevon ka bharam nashaao.
Ab main tumse kahon chitayi, Traydevan ki utpatti bhai.
Spread this true spiritual knowledge in the world, and dispel the illusions and misunderstandings of all souls. Now I will attentively tell you about the origin of the three principal gods — Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiv.
Kuch sankshipt kahon guhraayi, Sab sanshay tumhare mit jaayi.
Bharam gaye jag Ved puraana, Aadi Ram ka bhed na jaana.
I will explain this profound truth in brief, and all your doubts will be resolved. The world has been confused by the Vedas and Puranas. They failed to recognize the secret of the Aadi Ram — the original Supreme God.
Ram Ram sab jagat bakhaane, Aadi Ram koi birla jaane.
Gyaani sune so hirday lagaayi, Moorkh sune so gamya na paayi.
Everyone chants the name 'Ram', but only a rare soul understands who the true Aadi Ram is. A wise person hears this truth and absorbs it in their heart. A foolish one listens, but fails to grasp its essence.
Maa Ashtangi pita Niranjan, Ve jam daarun vanshan anjan.
Pehle keenh Niranjan raayi, Peechhe se Maya upjaayi.
The mother of the three gods is Ashtangi (Maya) and their father is Niranjan (Kaal) — they are from a terrible lineage that causes bondage and suffering. First, Niranjan (Kaal) was born and later Maya (Prakriti or Ashtangi).
Maya roop dekh ati shobha, Dev Niranjan tan man lobha.
Kaamdev Dharmarai sattaaye, Devi ko turat hi dhar khaaye.
Seeing the beauty of Maya’s form, Niranjan was filled with lust in body and mind. Controlled by lust (Kaamdev) and desire, Niranjan forcefully assaulted the goddess who took refuge in her stomach.
Summary and Essence (as explained by Sant Rampal Ji):
- Aadi Ram is not Lord Ram of Ayodhya, but Supreme God Kabir, who exists eternally and created all universes.
- The three gods (Brahma, Vishnu, Shiv) were born from Maya (Ashtangi) and Kaal (Niranjan) — not from the Supreme God directly.
- The world is confused due to incomplete knowledge in scriptures and rituals.
- Only a Tatvadarshi Saint reveals the true spiritual knowledge and helps souls understand the reality of Aadi Ram (God Kabir) and the true creation.
