What is Swasam Ved?
Swasam Ved refers to the divine knowledge that the Supreme God delivers directly through His own speech. This eternal knowledge has existed since the beginning of creation and is provided by God for the welfare of humanity and to reveal the mysteries of the universe.
Mention of Swasam Ved in the Gita
In Chapter 4, Verse 32 of the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, it is stated: "Brahmne Mukhe", meaning the divine knowledge spoken by the Supreme God from His own mouth. This verse establishes that Swasam Ved is the sacred knowledge revealed by the Supreme God Himself.
Swasam Ved and Kabir Sahib
The Supreme God is Kabir Sahib. In 1398, Kabir Sahib appeared on Earth and delivered divine knowledge directly from His mouth. He revealed the secrets of creation, preservation, and destruction, along with the path to salvation. This knowledge is called Swasam Ved, as it was spoken directly by Kabir Sahib Himself.
Swasam Ved and Garib Das Ji Maharaj
In 1727, Kabir Sahib revealed Satlok (the eternal abode) to Garib Das Ji Maharaj and imparted complete knowledge of the mysteries of the universe and the path to liberation. Garib Das Ji expressed this divine knowledge in his sacred verses, which were later compiled into scriptures. His teachings are also considered part of Swasam Ved, as the knowledge was given by Kabir Sahib Himself.
