Tatvadarshi Sant | Satguru | Baakhabar
- What is a Tatvadarshi Sant
- What is a Satguru
- What is Baakhabar or a Well Informed Saint
A guru is vital for salvation. Without a guru one cannot achieve salvation. This is the primary reason that our Holy Scriptures tell us to find a True Guru.
Tatvadarshi Sant in Bhagavad Gita
In Srimad Bhagavad Gita, a True Guru has been called as a Tatvadarshi Sant. Chapter 4, verse 34 of Bhagavad Gita says that to listen to the most important knowledge one has to find a Tatvadarshi Sant.
Gita 4.34 (Gita Press Gorakhpur)
Understand the true nature of that Knowledge by approaching seers of Truth. If you prostrate at their feet, render them service, and question them with an open and guileless heart, those wise seers of Truth will instruct you in that Knowledge.(34)
Read Gita 4.34
The word Tatvadarshi Sant has been translated as "seers of Truth" in the translation above. The Tatvadarshi Sant mentioned in the above verse of Bhagavad Gita Chapter 4 is the same as Baakhabar mentioned in Quran.
Guru Granth Sahib
The whole of Guru Granth Sahib is full of praises of a Guru, a Satguru (Sat means True) i.e. a True Guru. Read more about Satguru.
Similarly Holy Quran also advises to find a "Well Informed", a Baakhabar (one who holds the most important knowledge about God).
Who is Baakhabar in Quran Sharif
Surah Al Furqan-25 Verse 59
He is the One Who created the heavens and the earth and everything in between in six Days, then established Himself on the Throne. He is the Most Compassionate! Ask none other than the All-Knowledgeable about Himself.
The word "All-Knowledgeable" is the english translation for Baakhabar (one who is aquainted with the most intricate knowledge)
Conclusion
One who holds knowledge of all the Holy Scriptures and grants true worship of the Supreme God is called a Baakhabar. In the Hindu religion this person is called a Tatvadarshi Saint, in the Sikh religion he is called a Waheguru, in Christianity, he is called a Messiah and in Islam he is called Baakhabar. A Baakhabar comes to this world and grants complete knowledge and way of worship of Supreme God Kabir. A Baakhabar only tells who Supreme God is, where he resides and what He is like. In the current era that Baakhabar is Sant Rampal Ji.
Gist
The gist of above mentioned three religions i.e. Hinduism, Sikhism and Islam is that a True Guru is vital for attaining liberation (salvation). Only a true Guru or a Baakhabar hold the most confidential knowledge. That confidential knowledge is not even present in the Bhagavad Gita and the Quran. That is why the speakers of Bhagavad Gita and Quran have given the advice to find a Tatvadarshi Saint or a Baakhabar to gain that knowledge.
