Vishnu (विष्णु)
Vishnu (विष्णु) - also known as "The Sustainer" is one of the three Gods of Hinduism viz Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva are brothers and Lord Vishnu is in the middle. Vishnu is endowed with "Satguna".
Vishnu is the son of Goddess Durga and Brahm (Kaal). His wife is Lakshmi and he resides in Vaikunth Lok or the Vishnu Lok.
Lord Vishnu resides in the "Umbilical Lotus / Naabhi Kamal (नाभि कमल)" in the body and this lotus has 8 petals.
Age of Vishnu
Age of Vishnu is 7 times the age of Brahma which is 100 "Divine years". Therefore age of Shiva is 7 X 100 "Divine years" = 700 "Divine years" = 2177280000000000 earth years (2 quadrillion 177 trillion 280 billion years).
Shiv Puran - Who is the Father of Brahma, Vishnu & Shiva?
Lord Vishnu is not Supreme - Shiv Purana
There are many inferences in our Holy Scriptures that prove that Lord Vishnu is not Supreme God. One of the main ones is the one below.
Virbhadra defeats Vishnu and beheads Daksha (Father of Parvati)
In Shiv Purana there comes an account when Sati jumps in to a yagya fire and gets burnt. When Lord Shiva learns about this, out of extreme rage, he pulls a few locks of his hair and creates Virbhadra and orders Virbhadra to kill Daksha. Virbhadra arrives at the scene of yagya. Seeing this Daksha gets terrified and takes refuge of Lord Vishnu. Virbhadra defeats Lord Vishnu and other devtas and beheads Daksha and throws his head in to the yagya fire. Later on Brahma and other devtas approach Lord Shiva and ask for pardon and to revive Daksha and other devtas who were killed by Virbhadra. Lord Shiva finally agrees and revives them and also Daksha.
The above account proves that Lord Vishnu is not supreme.
There are many other similar accounts which also prove that Vishnu is not the Supreme God.
